If you consider that today, for every advertisement posted, the evaluator receives 300 to 500 CVs, the time spent on each one is no more than 30 to 50 SECONDS!!!! So it is a quick photo scan.

You've been looking for a job for a long time, you read an advertisement that you feel is written for you and you confidently send your CV. You wait expectantly but no response... and this scene repeats itself until you become frustrated, frustrated and wonder "But, what am I doing wrong?"

There are two main areas where you can look for any failures:
Α. WHAT your CV says about you, HOW it says it and
Β. WHAT image and/or feelings does it create in the reader?

So let's start with the CV and its content:

So look at your CV and answer honestly: What is it about your resume that catches the evaluator's attention? What makes it stand out from the other 299?
Is it short and concise, with a simple structure? Prefer bullet points rather than narrative!
Does it respond to the specific advertisement for the specific job? Remember there are no "one-size-fits-all" resumes!
Is it written in a clear/professional/legible font?
"Escorted?" The cover letter is a short focused summary and is an essential tool because it highlights your motivation and why you believe you are a good fit for the position in question, guides the reader to the key points to look for within your CV and proves that you are the right candidate!

Then put yourself in the reader's shoes

And try to feel the emotions your CV evokes in the reader. Or better yet, cover the name and ask for the opinion of a friend you value.

Your CV should be like the trailer of a very interesting film that anyone who reads it will definitely want to see:
Don't limit yourself to heavy-handed and unclear job titles. Emphasise the scope of the job, the nature of the tasks and measurable achievements. This will make your future employer want you on their team!
No need to exaggerate or underestimate, any awards, academic successes or other distinctions are meant to be your competitive advantage that define special personality traits that lift a team!
Communicate in the same language! Think about it: if a tourist addressed you in English, asking you for information about a tourist attraction, would you give it to him in Greek? No, so why would you send a CV written in Greek in response to an advertisement written in English, even mentioning in your qualifications that you have a certificate in the language?

Finally, before you decide that your CV is to blame for everything, know that your future employer will look for information about you on the internet
