The three-day transnational training workshop of the Inspire project was successfully completed!
We started with the Super Power we'd like to have, learned about our personality strengths, built the canvas of our social enterprise and thought about our social media persona.
On the first day, Irini Andrioti presented the Training Guide with psychometric methods that help to detect and assess the appropriate characteristics and skills of the "entrepreneurial" personality by engaging participants in practical exercises/tools.

The INSPIRE project
It is an Innovative online game to define your role in Social Entrepreneurship. It aims to inspire and empower young people between 18-24 years old to engage in Social Entrepreneurship, create teams, start businesses through an innovative tool/psychometric game.
Today, the importance of social entrepreneurship for economic growth is widely recognised. A report by the OSCE (2019) strongly documents that young people (15-24) in Europe find it very difficult to find a job. 15% of them are unemployed, and in some cases this figure reaches 30%. The 'Map of social enterprises and their ecosystems in Europe' (2015) highlights as key constraints to starting and growing a social enterprise, lack of entrepreneurial spirit, limited management skills of entrepreneurs, inability to develop sustainable business models, difficulty in accessing capital/financing. The ESM (European Startup Monitor) reveals that young people are trying to overcome all the above challenges by working together in teams (over 79% of start-up founders started as a team).
In this spirit, the INSPIRE project suggests that the key to success for a new social enterprise is the TEAM. But, the emphasis is on creating a team with complementary skills, competences and roles before its launch, and on 'recruiting' new members during its development. Thus, the INSPIRE project seeks to develop a tool to assess the skills and competences, personality and career characteristics of young people aged 18-24 and to empower them to develop effective teams and businesses.

The Project Team
The project responds to a transnational need for innovation in the field of youth professional development and engagement with INSPIRing Social Entrepreneurship. The partners, Challedu (Greece), MC2020 (Spain), KESO (Greece), CiP (Cyprus), come from different backgrounds and are able to create a holistic approach. The materials and method developed through the project will be of global interest and will have the potential to be applied in different environments.
